I share here my medical journey so far....Feel free to write to me or talk to me if you need further info.

Following my graduation in Medicine ( MBBS 1994) from India where my roots are I moved to United Kingdom for my surgical training. I obtained my basic surgical and subsequent advanced higher surgical training in Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery (OTOLARYNGOLOGY/HEAD&NECK SURGERY) from UK & Ireland. Since 2000 I have been a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh & Glasgow (FRCS (Ed),FRCS(Glasg) 2000).

I was awarded the Intercollegiate FRCS(ORL-HNS) from UK in 2007 after completion of Higher Surgical Training in ENT Surgical Specialty. I moved to Australia in 2008 and have since expanded and broadened my surgical training and experience after successfully completing fellowships in Paediatric ENT, General ENT including Snoring & Sleep apnoea disorders and broad range of Otology & Rhinology diseases affecting paediatric and adult populations.

My experiences in Australia were mostly at tertiary centres in Perth & Melbourne but have significant experience having worked in a large regional unit in Western Australia both in public and private hospitals.

A lifestyle move brings me to beautiful NZ and look forward to offering my expanded ENT Surgical services to all age group patients in Palmerston North and wider regions of lower north island.

I hold Vocational specialist registration with the NZ Medical Council and have professional Memberships with a range of ENT Societies including Australian and NZ Societies of ORL-HNS, Australian Medical Council, Laryngological Society of Australasia and previously used to hold membership with British Association of ORL-HNS & Royal Academy of Medicine.

I also provide public hospital work at Palmerston North Hospital for Mid Central District Health Board as Consultant ENT Surgeon & Clinical Lead heading the Dept of ENT Surgery at the Public Hospital.

I have particular interest in teaching trainee registrars and constantly strive to improve surgical care for patients in this region & bring all latest advancements in ENT Practice by regularly attending conferences worldwide including seminars, workshops, forums and academy meetings.

Outside of my professional commitments I spend time in travelling, music, meditations and spiritual readings including particular interest for self-development strategies. I am married to a Medical Professional and have 2 daughters in University.

Please contact my administrative staff at Totara House Clinic if you wish to consult me for an opinion and management of whole range of Ear, Nose & Throat disorders for you and family/friends as needed.
